Army Of Freshmen
Army of Freshmen formed in late 1997 when lead singer, Chris Jay moved by himself to Ventura, California from New Jersey. Since then the energetic 6 piece rock band has earned the reputation of being one of the hardest working, longest standing, independent acts in the world, having played over 1,000 shows in 11 countries and 43 states. They've performed on several major festivals and events including multiple years on the Warped Tour, Japan's Summersonic Festival, (alongside artists like Radiohead and Kings of Leon), England's Download Festival in 2007 and 2008, (alongside acts like Iron Maiden and Kiss) and they were the only American artist to perform at China's Midi and Zebra Festivals in 2009. They'll be making their first appearance at the Sonisphere Festival in England this summer.
Along with Bowling For Soup, Army of Freshmen are the founders of the Get Happy Tour, a traveling rock package tour that has done two tours in the United States, one tour in Mainland Europe and two sold out tours in the United Kingdom.
