Blood Diamonds is Michael Tucker, a Vancouver-based pop artist best known for luxurious dreamscapes and infectious, sun dipped production. Having a background in classical and modernistic jazz, this game design student has developed an individualist sound that not only offers lush ambient synthetics, but delicately intertwined island percussion and misty baselines. Flowing rapidly between borderline theatrics, Blood Diamonds paints a theme of delirium, misguided lust, false eternity and visual radiance.
