"We are CONCRETE DISCO and we make live dance music." (Concrete Disco)

They aim to take back for humanity the music that once was subject to the tyranny of the computer, and in so doing regain power over the machines that have made us their slaves for so long. Think The Prodigy meets Soulwax.

"Like Syntax with Thom Yorke's voice, but they've discovered a ten point dial marked 'EPIC' and they've somehow turned it up to eleven." (Eddie Temple-Morris)

The band have a highly charged energetic live performance which has to be seen to be believed and take influences from all genres of music, which makes for a show that captivates and engages audiences from all ages and backgrounds.

Having recently just been signed to Primary Talent booking agents they believe their now on their way to achieving their main goal of taking their music to crowds all over the world and increasing their overall fanbase, this coupled with their impending debut release of 'THE STRUGGLE' feat. BYOB should make for an exciting year for the boys.

The band was formed under the name Toxic Funk Berry by the two brothers in the band, Joe Berditch and Dom Berditch, but they quickly decided that a third member in the shape of Jonny Wharton would be the perfect addition to complete the setup.

Having all known each other for a long time, attending countless raves/festivals/parties and other loud events together, they were all in agreement about what they felt the live dance music scene was missing from its roster, and set out on a mission to create the show they have now.

They've been through a number of competitions over the last 2 years and have always managed to impress with their live performances. In their first 3 months of playing live they won a competition to play on the main stage of the Camden Roundhouse alongside Zane Lowe, Beardyman and other established acts and last year they played at the indigo2 in front of 1100 people as part of another emerging acts competition.

They gained nationwide exposure through Sky 1's 'Must be the Music' show last year with their audition attracting 20,000 views in the first week on Youtube. The band narrowly missed out on the grand final at Wembley (losing out to an 11 year-old harpist) after an uncompromising and vitriolic live semi-final performance which ultimately proved too challenging for the Sunday evening prime time audience.

The experience of playing on a live TV show during the semi-finals was extremely valuable to their development as a professional band and the show also helped them release their 1st song which reached no.13 in the itunes dance music charts. Following the show, the band decided that, rather than taking the safe path and trading off their recognition from their TV debut, they should take the opportunity for a fresh start. They changed their name to Concrete Disco and got back to what they do best: playing high-energy, inspirational live shows and writing filthy breaks.

The aim as stated before is to take the show all over the world and play their music to as many people as they can and having proved in the short time they've been around that they're capable of rocking massive crowds they believe its only a matter of time before they really take off and start gaining the global success that they're after.
