Guy Andrews is fast becoming one of the most diverse and stylistically independent young electronic producers to come out of the UK in recent years.
At the age of 24, with his debut vinyl release on Untold's trendsetting Hemlock Recordings and a second release on Scuba's legendary Hotflush Recordings, his percussion-oriented sound is instantly recognisable on dancefloors throughout the UK and across the globe.
With a production background in post-rock, jazz and ambient music, Andrews brings a unique and unusual edge to electronic dance music. With a distinguished focus on rhythm and percussive elements inspired by afrobeat and jazz, combined with song structures influenced by post-rock, he infuses these elements with modern house and techno - creating intricate sounding yet dancefloor-friendly tracks.
Guy Andrews has received DJ and radio support from artists and tastemakers such as Massive Attack, Mary Anne Hobbs, Benji B, Scuba, Funk D'Void and Untold to name but a few. Online and print publications such as Resident Advisor, DJ Mag, Mixmag, Clash Music, XLR8R, Fact and The Quietus having also given high praises of his productions.
