'Made For The Night' is the Jesse Rose view on club culture!
Feeling limited by programming club nights under the banner of one of his three labels and compilations that focused only on these labels, Jesse decided it was time for a new concept. What started as an idea for a compilation series where the artist would give us his DJ perspective of the night on one CD and a retrospective of his/her productions and remixes on another CD, gave way to the idea of taking this brand on the road and with Jesse programming nights across the dance music spectrum. After all, Jesse has never been one to stick to a certain genre.
From here, the idea began that instead of label nights Jesse would curate 'Made For The Night' residencies and for this fresh spaces were needed. In Berlin; Watergate, with two floors and a more open minded programming approach, was the ideal base. For Paris it had to be Social Club. London gets a new venue each time starting with a party at Eastern Electrics and from here nights are being confirmed from Los Angeles to Tokyo.
Jesse has always blurred the lines DJing, from six hour hedonistic sets at Panorama Bar for 600 people to one hour set's in front of 30,000 people at festivals, producing records and remixes played by artists as far and wide as Luciano to Switch. Made to Play as a label gives Jesse highlight records in his sets while Play It Down and Front Room the grooves to build from. As an A&R, promoter, remixer, producer and DJ, Jesse has over fifteen years vision. It's the combined sum and passion of this knowledge that will bring 'Made For The Night' to life.
