SONIC BOOM SIX, the explosive and outspoken Manchester-based five-piece are the most compelling soundclash to rise from the underground for years.

A true product of their city-centre environment, The Boom's sound is as authentic as it is unique.

Having toured constantly for the last four years, whilst also managing to release three albums, the band took time out in early 2011 to write their forth-coming, Pete Miles (The King Blues, Futures, Canterbury) produced, new album which has already gained them a massive new audience and industry champions with the release of the infectious 'For The Kids of The Multiculture', which was playlisted on national and regional radio and TV, gaining 'Single Of The Week' on Kerrang! Radio and 'Record of The Day' on industry tastemaker site www.recordoftheday.com.

Described by Kerrang! as "a hefty shot of rock-enfused-ska-punk, hip-hop, reggae and jungle, not to mention big, sinuous dynamics and hooks", SB6 play firmly for the dance-floor while retaining enough power and aggression to be an active fixture of the UK's rock and punk scene.

The band's electrifying live show has always been there, but the band have stepped up their game with the new material and are finally getting the industry attention that their potential has always promised. This summer's headline slots at Sonisphere and Hevy cemented their standing as one of the UK's great live acts.
