The 1975 release their new Ep 'IV', on 20th May, featuring 'The City'. Their self-titled debut album is out on 9th September, which is accompanied by a major UK tour.
They have also announced details of two big shows in January 2014 - headlining at Manchester Academy and London's Brixton Academy.

The British television channel BBC 2 has chosen three Alt-J tracks for use as station idents. Instrumental versions of 'Something Good', 'Intro' and 'Fitzpleasure' from the band's Mercury Music Prize winning album 'An Awesome Wave', are all currently appearing between programmes on the station.
