Young Fathers are a Glorious Mess combining Rap, Pop, Dub, Electronic and Incidental sounds.
Formed in Edinburgh, Scotland in the year 2008. The multi-national group consists of three members, Ally, Kayus and G.
Meeting in a Grungy, Sweaty underground Hip-Hop club at the age of 14 and honing their skills through open mic slots and cider soaked dance floors, they bonded through the desire to create something more.....
They claim that SUPERPOP is a dimension, as in "Unfortunately, not all will reach true SUPERPOP". All three members have.
They released their debut single 'Straight Back On It' in December 2008 to much acclaim... Their debut LP, recorded in a basement with the help of Timothy London is due for release in the near future.
