Fresh from self releasing his lo-fi mixtape 'Champagne', Zebra Katz serves you his debut release, 'Ima Read' feat. Njena Reddd Foxxx on Mad Decent's Jeffree's Imprint. Pulling from a multimedia /performance art background, Zebra Katz brings a slo-mo dark delivery to his rhymes set over a the minimal unencumbered beat on 'Ima Read'.
ZK is proud to present his exhilarating web collaboration titled 'Winter Titty with Lithuanian producer Boyfriend (rising stars of the tropical bass world). The original tracks combine Zebra's signature late-night flow and faultless delivery with a deep, dark and beautifully produced set of instrumentals from Boyfriend, marking a departure from his normal club friendly style.
The remix package is truly epic, starting with 'Chaos in The CBD' (Youngunz) on a rolling 808 flex, moving through a solid gold club hip-hop joint from Brenmar (Grizzly / Hum & Buzz etc) and a dancehall flex from Rizzla (Fade To Mind). Moving things up tempo Photonz (One Eyed Jacks) turn in a jacking techno cut leaving Wheez-ie and Lenkemz to round things out at the 150+ BPM range.
